OATMEAL!!!

Well I finally found the best use for Oatmeal. Since I had aquired 5 kilos of Oatmeal I have been struggling to find a good use for it. I don't like oatmeal in the morning. I finally went and baught some flour, backing soda, and Dark chololate chunks and decided to try to make some cookies.

I decided to make 2 kinds...Oatmeal, Chocolate chunk cookies and oatmeal, peanutbutter and chocolate chunk cookies. Well lets just say..I SHOULD SELL THESE THINGS! They are DAMN GOOD! Mr. Christie would not be able to make a better cookie! I think I have found my new calling. Quite cycling, working, school stuff and just make cookies! Ummm wait a min. I don't think so!

Here is what they look like! Yummy!

I'm not satisfied!! I want more weight...I want to BEAT EM!

Here we go, back in the gym twice a week again! Time to get huge and powerful. I might be pushing almost 200lbs again soon from my workouts. I am going to try to keep my weight down but as some of you know that seems to be hard for me to do when I hit the weights hard again. My ASS seems to grow and GROW and GROW!!! It is something that I need to do again to get were I want to be.

I will be doing 2 days in the gym, 2 or 3 days on the track and a couple easy ride and rollers almost every day...oh yeah and EATTING!!!

I just had a full week off and will am ready to hit it hard again. BRING IT!!!

Trials....and Tribulations???

Moshi Moshi Everyone,

As you know I have been prepping for the National team selections that concluded last Wed. I had a couple of goals in mind and those were to prove that I was a fast enough starter to stay on the team sprint and mainly to turn a fast flying 500m time. The standing 250m time trial was to identify riders for a starting position as the 1st rider. The 500m time was in hopes to earn a position on the team sprint as 3rd rider. Well I accomplished both of those goals. In the 250m TT, I posted a time close to the top riders. I think I was 4th or 5th fastest with only a few tenths of a second off the fastest time. I qualified as the second fasted 500m qualifier next to Cam a current national team rider.

Unfortunately for all the riders at the selection with the exception of one, no one was selected to travel to Australia for the 1st world cup of the season. We were told that these selections would be used to select riders for the L.A. World cup in January...I am now focusing my training on obtaining a spot on that World Cup team.

I have a new coach now and someone whom I think can really move me forward in my training. I am looking forward to this new opportunity.

Thanks you to all my teammates and all my friends that have supported me through my training and that have helped me continue to get better. I hope you will all continue helping me.

On a different note, my buddy Travis Smith has a pretty fun Blog and if you have a chance have a read. Trav has many of the same interest that I have, Bikes, Cars Speed. He has some cool videos and I am looking forward to driving his new car when I get there for the L.A. World Cup!
